Mari Dombkowski

Author Mari Dombkowski is a mom, kindergarten teacher -- and widow. She writes Not the End children’s books about real families who have experienced profound grief. Through these true grief journeys, Mari wishes to show young readers that the death of a parent or close loved one is NOT the end of their story. A happy new chapter is possible.

"I wrote Not the End to give hope to children who have experienced the death of a parent. My intention is that loved ones and those working with grieving children will use these pages as a springboard for discussion and a tool for healing.
