I am a retired commercial airline pilot of 35 years who completed my education in 2009 at Augsburg College, Minneapolis, Minnesota with a cum laude degree in creative writing at the age of 69. I love books written for quick reading. I do not like long introductions, pages of acknowledgments or long boring prologues followed by long, long, chapters. Cut to the chase! I like to build the story through dialogue. The characters are minimal with names you can pronounce. In my first book, "Til Death Do Us Part," Aaron Kelley meets a woman of his dreams. Unfortunately, she is married. This romance will leave you wondering what's next to the very last page. I have received rave reviews on Amazon and comments from the people who have read it. I have been a guest author at four book clubs. They all said, "I couldn't put it down." Try it.
My second book, "The Day Always Comes," is a fictional story of a young man conceived through artificial insemination. His mother dies in a single car accident when he is four years old. He is raised by his grandmother. After high school, he goes in the Navy, then to college and spends the rest of his life looking for his donor father. In this mystery thriller, Mike Gibbons is led down a dark path he could never have imagined.
I am married and live with my wife, Tish, in Edina, Minnesota. We have three children. One in Minneapolis, one in NYC, the other in Seattle. We have one grandchild. I like all sports especially, football, college and NFL, college wrestling, baseball, and you name it. If you can't name it, I like it. I hoope you enjoy my fast-paced novels.
