Woman, Christian, wife, mother, teacher, missionary, and now author: I am a woman with a multi-faceted life. Writing Congo Crisis was simply a way to keep my mind occupied while recovering from a broken leg (and caring for a toddler). The book was written many years ago and is full of my experiences, only told through the eyes of a young lady who traveled to Congo to gain insights into missionary life.

Congo Crisis can be enjoyed by young and old because the life-changing events that the main character becomes acquainted with are told in an uncomplicated style. My hope is that reading this book will open your eyes to life lived in a third-world country and to the amazing people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
