Joyce Gerald

I was born in Kingston, Jamaica. I am the only child of Stanford Alexander Ffrench, who is now deceased. My dad was a quiet introvert who raised another quiet introvert who is also a devourer of books and a prolific writer. I lived most of my childhood and early adult life in the UK. I moved to Toronto, Canada in 1974 with my two daughters Allison and Jo-Anne, and my then husband, Benjamin. Both of my daughters love to read. Allison will avoid writing like the plague, but Jo-Anne is a superb writer with a vivid imagination. I cannot wait to see her publish her first book. Our family moved to the USA in 1978. I am an alumnus of Brooklyn College and Liberty University. I have been an educator for over 30 years. That is where my love of writing was most evident. I am currently attending the seminary at Liberty University where I am learning how to counsel as a pastor should. It is quite a stretch for an introvert, but I do it every day online and have done so with thousands of people over the last oh I would say ten years or so. I am the leader, and writer for the Your Are Not The Only One Blog. This blog is an offshoot of the Egg Angels Ministry, which was started in 2009 by 4 Fast Friends. I am passionate about writing about the grace of God and who He is to all of us. This is the first book that I have published. When seminary is over I will start working on my second one. I know that you will enjoy this book it speaks to the soul of each person who reads it. There is something in there for everyone who has every wondered if they were the "only one".
