Seph Ronden

Seph Ronden grew up in west Texas and always had a passion for reading and writing. He attended Abilene Christian University and received a bachelor’s degree in Education where two of his poems placed and were published through a National Collegiate Poet Writing Competition. Soon after college he entered the US Air Force via Officer Training School in San Antonio, Texas. Over the following 25+ years he served all around the United States and many overseas assignments including Iceland, Germany, Greece, Greenland, The Netherlands, and deployments in the Middle East. He continued his education while in the military by earning a master’s degree in Aerospace Systems Technology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as attending Squadron Officer’s School, Air Command and Staff College, and Air War College. Seph’s military training and duty experience includes nuclear command and control, search and rescue, air defense, and space systems operations. He retired from the Pentagon as a Colonel in 2012 and now lives in central Texas with his lovely wife and four of his five children. Currently he owns a ranch, where he raises cattle and poultry, and has renewed his pursuit of writing, along with hobbies such as blacksmithing and enjoying time out in nature with his family.
