Jason Murphy

Jason Murphy writes strange and often excessively violent things for novels, comics, film, television, and the internet. He is the creator of OCCULTEX, a horror-comedy series about paranormal investigators, occult conspiracies, terrible decisions, and the unfortunate discovery that the supernatural is real.

His other fiction includes THE BLACK GOAT MOTORCYCLE CLUB, a grindhouse action-horror novel about werewolves who ride motorcycles and eat people.

Murphy wrote the screenplay for the supernatural horror film 200 HOURS, co-hosted and produced HACKING THE SYSTEM for National Geographic, and was a longtime co-host, co-creator, and producer of The Modern Rogue on YouTube.

His work tends to live somewhere between horror, comedy, pulp adventure, and the deeply weird.
