James Spaulding

James Spaulding ('Jim' or 'JT' or 'Doctor Jim') has always had his head in space. He helped put others in space, with the Apollo and Viking Programs, and used computers to capture and analyze data from the Earth, the ocean, and Outer Space.

His technical expertise, a love for science, and a sense of how people deal with challenges helps him create stories of journeys with touches of reality and plausible fiction. He has also published stories of growing up in the 50's and 60's in "The Girl in the Boys' Club', a psychological mystery.

When not writing or teaching as 'Doctor Spaulding', Jim is probably sailing with his wife Cheryl, their children, grandchildren, or friends on a Catamaran named "Tigger". He also rebuilt a 1957 Atkins Packet Sloop, the subject of his Non-fiction book 'Rebuilding Rose' (Amazon).
