Lisa Mackay

Hi, I'm Lisa Mackay. I was born in Manchester (UK), and now live in the southeast of England. Having spent my early twenties working in London, I soon realised the office life wasn't for me, so I moved to Spain for a couple of years.

Once I had thoroughly explored my carefree existence serving cocktails in the Costa Del Sol, I moved back to London and joined forces with Stevie, my best bud and partner in music. We set up a band called Hollywood and went out to conquer the world ... well, some of it.

Often in luxurious resorts, we travelled the globe performing for Royalty, corporate giants such as Sony, and many of the finest hotels and clubs worldwide. It was bloomin' wonderful!

Always keen to learn new skills, I took a Script-Supervisor course at the National Film and Television School in the UK, where I went on to direct a pilot for television and worked as script-supervisor for acclaimed and esteemed British director Jane Gull.

Recently, I also graduated with distinction from the College of Media and Publishing after completing a proofreading and copyediting course.

Now retired from performing, I write and self-publish romance novels. My debut series, The Sexy M.F. Series, was my first endeavour, and The Heart-Deep series is currently my work-in-progress.

I also proofread and transcribe manuscripts for other authors.
