Formerly a Technical Analyst for Verizon Wireless, she is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her college degree is in history and sociology, but she also has a love of science and technology, language, music and religious studies.

Her cat, Iris, is known for turning off the lights in the house on a nightly basis.
