David Campbell built on a forty-year technology career to become the cofounder and executive director of All Hands Volunteers.
He began his career with IBM in 1963 and then left to join Com- puter Task Group, eventually serving as President/CEO for most of his twenty-five-year career there. His later positions have included President of BBN Technologies, CEO of Xpedior, and service on ten public company boards of directors. He received the Manhattan Institute award for Social Entrepreneurship in 2013, and the Symetra Purpose Prize from Encore.org in 2014.
Campbell, originally from Buffalo, New York, earned a bachelor of science in mathematics and a master of science from SUNY-Buffalo, where he has served as a trustee. He has an honorary doctorate from Niagara University, where he is a trustee emeritus.
