Stacey Culpepper

I was born in Los Angeles, California and later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana. As an adult, I have lived in Panama, Central America and Brooklyn, New York. I adopted different aspects of the various cultures that were exposed to me. For this reason, I enjoy Caribbean food, dancing to bachata, salsa, and merengue. International travel is also a passion of mine.

I am former school librarian and involved in a mentorship for women and girls in North and Latin America for over 30 years. The program instills principals to help women build solid foundations for the future. I believe children benefit from literary diversity. It enhances their ability to see themselves in positive storyline.
