Cassandra Lewis

Cassandra Lewis is an essayist, novelist, and playwright exploring questions about social responsibility. She was awarded the PEN America/L’Engle Rahman Prize for her work in the Prison and Justice Writing Program. Her writing has been published in several anthologies, including No Contact: Writers on Estrangement, edited by Jenny Bartoy, published by Catapult, and other publications, such as The New Yorker, The New York Times, Electric Literature, The Rumpus, and Broad Street Review. Her debut novel, Grief Camp, will be published by SFWP in 2027.
