I am a Writer and an occasional Math Teacher (Sir, what's the occasion?). I like to sing, having no instrumental talent (cannot even clap in time, and yes, I'm aware singing badly IS obnoxious).

I have performed the finale to Les Miserables before an audience of 500. I have also sung before a similar audience (students, parents) renditions of 'I Will' (Beatles), 'Mr Cairo' (Jon Vangelis) and 'I am Australian' (Seekers). Now I seek another profession because the audience hates me ..

I am a failed whistleblower who campaigned on the issue of dead school child Hamidur Rahman and an unrelated, bungled pedophile investigation. I will never work as a teacher again, although there is no legal impediment. No one will hire me. And I have lost my nerve. Along with my home, my life savings and many I called friend. But I have been blessed. I wasn't aware of it when things went well, but I realised God carried me, and still does. Many thanks to my friends at Jesus Family, Cabramatta, for being there for me.
