Robin Chodak — The Grief and Healing Collection
Drawing from her own profound experiences with loss, Robin Chodak is an author, grief coach, and teacher who illuminates the journey of grief, resilience, and inner peace. Her commitment to grief work started after the suicide of her second husband in 2005. During this time, Robin wrote journal letters to process her emotions and maintain a connection to her loved one. This deeply personal practice blossomed into a calling to guide others through the complexities of grief.
Robin later found love again and married her third husband, Dr. Gerald Chodak. When he died suddenly in 2019, she once again faced profound loss. The experience with grief deepened her understanding of how loss changes us and strengthened her commitment to helping others find hope and meaning after loss.
Today, Robin shares what she has learned through her books, coaching, and teaching. She is a certified grief, life, and spiritual coach, as well as a certified Master NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) practitioner. She offers one-on-one coaching and has also developed an online program that trains and certifies individuals who feel called to become grief coaches, supporting others through their healing journeys.
Robin’s writing has appeared in The Daily Word, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Catholic Charities Loving Outreach to Suicide Survivors, and Survivors of Suicide Bereavement Support Australia. She has also contributed to the anthologies in Tales of Our Lives: Fork in the Road and From Grief to Greatness.
Through her books, Robin explores grief from many perspectives—personal reflection, emotional healing, spiritual growth, and the possibility of transformation after loss.
