George Dunbar

George Dunbar grew up in the Hudson Valley during what is arguably one of the most revolutionary periods in modern history. Born in Poughkeepsie in 1946, he attended inner city public schools and graduated Poughkeepsie High School in 1964 and Dutchess Community College in 1969. He lived simultaneous lives as a corporate IBM’er, student and gadfly during the wondrous 60’s and 70’s. His escapades led him on the endless journey of youth throughout the Hudson Valley surrounded by a life of friends, fast cars, motorcycles, pretty young ladies and numerous venues of bars and clubs. Come ride with Georgie the Coachman on the city streets and rural back roads of the “Valley” during these glorious years of youth and opportunity.
