Their self-titled debut album marked the commencement of her professional music career, but it was in 2002 that Asiah etched her name in history by co-creating, arranging, and vocally producing "Family Affair," the multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated #1 hit by Mary J. Blige, produced by Dr. Dre. The song transcended the charts, becoming a cultural movement that resonated deeply with audiences.

With a sharp business acumen and an unwavering passion for her craft, Asiah founded AsiahTown Entertainment (BMI), a thriving music publishing company where she nurtured emerging talent. Following a period dedicated to healing, health, and harmony, Asiah trained as a certified transformation life coach, launching the visionary project “7 Elements.” This initiative explores the intersections of music, mental health, healing, and hip-hop culture, emphasizing the power of transformation.
