Mairead Case

Mairead Case is a working writer born in Omaha in 1983. She grew up in Seattle (where she worked in music journalism and as a birthday party clown) and Chicago (where she worked at Punk Planet, the Neighborhood Writing Alliance, the Poetry Foundation Library, and Louder Than a Bomb). Now Mairead lives in Colorado, where she is an English and Creative Writing Ph.D student at the University of Denver, a columnist at Bookslut, and a poetry teacher at Denver Women's Correctional Facility. She is at work on a new novel.
