Nikki Helton

I am mom to three awesome kids, Ben, Sam and Carolyn. Sam is my inspiration for SamBoy. He is autistic and has a vivid imagination. He loves to pretend to be SamBoy and "save the day!" My husband, Keith, and I thoroughly enjoy writing the SamBoy stories. We have several written awaiting illustrations, and hope to publish book two very soon. I have also just written the first of a series of historical fiction novels, loosely based on my family, the Crawfords. The first book, "Dogwood Alley" is available now, and the second book will be available by spring of 2016.
