Robert Westheimer, a fourth-generation Houstonian, is the founder and chairman of Newspring, a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) organization focused on economic development in the Spring Branch area of Houston. Newspring emerged from a convergence of events, including the demise of Arthur Andersen & Co., where Robert served as a partner, several bouts with cancer, and an unsuccessful attempt at church planting. The wounds he suffered in these experiences have shaped his role as a spiritual entrepreneur, one who leads by following, who seeks the glory of God instead of his own, and who leads, not so much from a textbook as from faith in the One who has called him. Those experiences are the basis of "When God Calls, How Do You Answer?"
