Sue Boardman

Sue Boardman says, “I am still learning!”

And, indeed, she is. A former R.N., Sue received Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, GA. She served the Presbyterian Church (USA) for 25 years as a pastor and pastoral counselor, as well as editor for Monday Morning magazine and special to Presbyterian News Service.

Much of Dr. Boardman’s work has been with couples and families. She has been a certified leader for the Developing Capable People program for more than 30 years and has mastery level training in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and Neuro-linguistic Programming.

Recently “retired,” Sue released her #1 Bestsellers, "Grandmothers Are In Charge Of Hope" and "WE GATHER TOGETHER…holiday feasts with the family you have!" in 2015. The second, expanded edition of "Grandmothers Are In Charge Of Hope" was released in 2016. Her recent book, "Let's Boil Bones...Grammy's guide to bone broth and other yummy things!", launched in the Kindle version in Nov. 2016. The updated paperback version of "Let's Boil Bones" is expected in early 2018.

Sue is also honored to be part of an anthology project of writers called "Breathing Words...a year of writing together" which became an Amazon bestseller in September of 2017.

Sue and her husband, Bill, are the delighted grandparents of the two lovely girls pictured on the front cover of "Grandmothers Are In Charge Of Hope." They are also actively involved in rescue work with Newfoundland Dogs.

Her newest book, "Otis and the Great Christmas Adventure!", is a children's story about a Newfoundland rescue dog and his holiday escapades. Sue's 10 year old granddaughter, Kenzie Boardman, brings this delightful tale to life with her artwork. All profits from this project will go to Newfoundland rescue organizations in the US.

Active in the local food community and a recent teacher at the Big Green Egg culinary center, Sue is a student of Intentional Creativity.
