Born in Houston, Texas, Dr. Kenna Lang Archer earned a full-ride to Baylor University as a National Merit Scholar. She received a bachelor's degree in the University Scholar Program (2004), pursuing specializations in Environmental Science, American History, and English and graduating Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude, and Valedictorian. She also received a master's degree in Environmental Science (2007) from Baylor University and graduated with a doctorate from Texas Tech University in American History (2012). She currently teaches history courses at Angelo State University.
