Maziar Mirzai

Maziar Mirzai is an Australian author whose fiction explores science, mystery, human nature and the possibility of life beyond Earth.

His passion for writing emerged during his university years, when he received several writing awards while studying engineering at The University of Western Australia. He later graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Offshore Engineering and Naval Architecture.

His novel Viator blends science fiction, alien contact, government secrecy and investigation, following an aviation disaster investigator drawn into an extraordinary case.

Mirzai's longstanding fascination with UFOs and extraterrestrial phenomena continues to influence his fiction, alongside broader questions about humanity, exploration and the unknown.

He is currently developing a new science-fiction novel—a story that has evolved over many years into an entirely new world.
