Ms Bradshaw received her Masters of Aging Service Management from USC, and her Bachelors in Human Services & Gerontology from TESC. She has over 30 years experience in geriatrics, to include assistant, director and consultant. Ms Bradshaw currently serves as the Executive Director of the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP), as well as she teaches the nationally recognized Modular Education Program for Activity Professionals (MEPAP) that she co-developed, both traditionally and on the internet. Ms Bradshaw was the recipient of the Colorado Activity Professionals Association (CAPA) activity professional of the year and our pack award, as well as the COAP-North Carolina, Bettye Cecil Commitment to Excellence Award, and received the “Friends of NJAPA” and Weidner award from the New Jersey Activity Professionals Association, and most recently the Distinguished Merit Award of Excellence from the Florida Healthcare Association Activity Coordinators Association. Ms Bradshaw is the current Government Relations chairperson and Vice President for the Virginia Association of Activity Professionals (VAAP) serving on various committees, as well as she serves on the editorial board of A New Day Magazine, sits on the JCAHO network liason committee, and served on the CMS hydration committee. Ms Bradshaw gave input into the F248/F249 interpretive guideline changes and edited the Activity Keeps me Going Book, Volume B. Ms Bradshaw has spoken in over 30 different states for the past 25 years, and recently co-authored the Activities 101 Home Care Giver book, the Alzheimer’s 101 book and the Grief care giver books for ROS Therapy Systems
