Paige Abbott

Paige Abbott is the clinical services director at Health Upwardly Mobile Inc. (HUM), an agency dealing with Addiction, mental health and chronic pain in Calgary, Alberta. She completed her Master of Science degree in counselling psychology at the University of Calgary in 2007. She has been a Registered Psychologist in Alberta since 2009. After graduation, Paige worked at an employee and family assistance program (EFAP) from 2008-2012 where she worked with a broad range of issues, including Addiction and mental health. She also has experience volunteering with marginalized populations and has been involved in research on topics such as spirituality, HIV/AIDS, and homeless street youth. This is her first book but she has been involved in other research publications, including her master's thesis on young adult's discourse around marriage.
