Pryce Baldwin Jr.

Pryce Baldwin, Jr. was born in North Carolina and now resides in Garner,NC. A retired educator who was also an administrator for the Helping Hands Project of Wake County Public Schools. The project provided AA mentors for AA boys in elementary and middle schools.

My aim in writing picture books for boys of color, from preschool to second grade, is so boys of color will see, own and read books with pictures of boys who look like them. It is my hope that this will create an interest in reading as well as a love for reading early in their lives.

This series of books, with pictures of my grandson, illustrates his interest in things in his world.

This is my first venture into book publishing.
