Malia Dell

Malia has been exposed to a variety of cultural foods and cities having grown up in Chicago, Vermont, Massachusetts and Honolulu, where she was born. Her idea for this book began with her disapproval of the office lunch culture which causes working professionals to settle for most of their meals out (drive-thru window, take-out menu, microwaved package, canned soup from desk drawer - yawn). She knew there had to be a way to balance fresh home-cooked meals with the demands of a 9-5 schedule. She perfected her methodology around shopping and prepping and devised an easy to follow weekly food system that is now captured between covers.

Through Food That Works and her engaging demonstrations at companies and universities nationwide, Malia strives to empower others to thrive in their 9 to 5, and reach their wellness goals. Malia educates in a way that is both inspiring and entertaining. She helps clients increase their productivity, gain control of their eating habits, and develop their confidence in the kitchen. She is a certified wellness coach, fitness instructor, self-taught cook, and an advocate for ending food waste.

In her free time, you can find Malia cooking, drinking copious amounts of tea, teaching bootcamp, latin dancing, doing yoga, creating art, and pursuing her gypsy travels at every possible chance. Feel free to get in touch with her at malia@foodthatworks.info
