Kimberly Grey

Kimberly Grey is the author of three books: A Mother Is an Intellectual Thing: Essays, published by Persea Books in 2023, Systems for the Future of Feeling (2020), and The Opposite of Light (2016), winner of the Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize. She has received fellowships from Stanford University, The Civitella Ranieri Foundation, and the Taft Research Center at The University of Cincinnati, where she earned a PhD in Comparative Literature and Creative Writing. Her poems and essays have appeared widely in journals such as A Public Space, The Kenyon Review, New England Review, Tin House, Narrative, PN Review (UK), and elsewhere.
