ALOK KUMAR RAY

Growing up as a boy in India, Alok Kumar Ray dreamed of a better future, so he studied chemistry and began his journey with science. In 1968 he moved to England where he built a career designing flavours for companies, a job which took him around the world.

He learned more about flavours by trying different types of food than he had done in any laboratory. He became inspired by what he had seen and tasted and applied his craft to creating new taste sensations based on his Indian heritage and his international adventures.

Now, he has changed one white coat for another and wants to share his culinary creations with the world.
