Antonio Commisso

After a twenty year separation due to the depression and World War Two Antonio Commisso’s parents finally reunited in Albany, New York in 1948. Two years later he was born. He was the last of five children which included a twenty year gap between him and his next older brother. His father had pioneered the way into America and with his help in the mid 50’s Antonio’s two older brothers went into business. Antonio grew up learning how to balance strong family values with good business sense.

He received an Associates Degree in Hotel Management from Paul Smith College in 1970. After graduation he worked for various hotel corporations before branching out into another family venture in 1979. He owned and operated Anthony’s Park Plaza, a full service restaurant directly across from the Capital building in Albany. Politicians, lobbyists, journalist, and judges made up the bulk of his clientele.

After fifteen years, because of business and family conflicts he decided to sell.

In 1995 he relocated to Naples, Florida where he works part time and writes. SILENT PARTNER is his first work with two more books near completion.
