Ritwik Dhandhi is the author of the debut collection of poems, Angel Tears, self published worldwide in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. He is also the author of the critically acclaimed second poetry collection, The Waves On My Bedroom Wall, a special collection that Dhandhi spent three years curating and encapsulating the experiences of a coming of age.
Ritwik's writing is recognized to be liberated, often talking about themes of love, queer experiences, heartbreak, friendship, and mental-health. He is also working on his debut novel, slated for late 2025, and his first screenplay for a queer period drama. During his downtime, he enjoys music, a stroll down Toronto Islands, or a night out on Church street where queer culture blossoms and the community is in its prime.
Born in New Delhi, India, and living in Toronto, Canada. Dhandhi has travelled the world to engage in lived experiences and is writing to immortalize these stories using his unique perspective and voice.
