Jamaluddin Jamali

Jamaluddin Jamali is a journalist and lives in Lahore. He mostly writes character-driven book club, literary, slow burning psychological fiction. His fictional characters, both male and female, look like real people and when you come to know them, you never forget them. His stories take you inside the darkest chambers of human heart and mind, deep into the house of desires and fears, the parts of human nature which are universal: love and fear, pleasure and pain, gain and loss, bliss and sorrow, happiness and grief, hope and depression. After taking you into the sad and dark rabbit holes of despair, his stories pull you back to a new beginning and hope, for hope is always there, even when it doesn't seem to be there, waiting for the right moment like a new day, a new morning, a new dream, a new partner, asking you to forget everything and just be. The Sin of Killing: The Dance of Changing Winds is his debut novel. The Baby Who Brought the Storm is his second book. He is working on his new book, a psychological fiction with a female protagonist. He has a master's degree in English Literature and loves being close to nature. He loves animals, all of them, being manifestations of nature.
