(www.KimSteadman.com) When she's not sweeping dog hair, experimenting in the kitchen, or doodling on paper, Kim C. Steadman is writing. She is a cubicle-nation escapee turned Authorpreneur. As a freelance writer and speaker, she also ministers alongside her family in Grand Prairie, TX. Besides diving into her dog's mind for insight into her next children's book, she mentors other authors as an idea instigator and content curator.

Apart from writing, school visits and speaking, Kim coordinates an online writing club and movement called Write More; Write Now and offers on-line 'authorpreneur' strategy brainstorming sessions to encourage and mentor other writers. Besides diving into her dog's mind for insight into her next children's book, she loves reading and curating interesting and whimsical information and oddities.

She and her husband care-take acreage which includes woods, fields and critters all of which weave themselves into her writings. She also enjoys hiking in the mountains & DIY projects as long as they don't include power saws!

Coffee, chocolate, and TexMex food are the fuel she needs for her next writing project!
