KJ Ivany

I live in Newfoundland and Labrador, an island off the East Coast of Canada with my husband, our dog Mags and our three adult children. My first self-published work was a short story collection spanning my years of writing. I have been awarded an Honorable Mention from the Writer's Digest and has been shortlisted for the John Kenneth Gailbraith award on numerous occasions. Many of my short stories contain humorous anecdotes from my childhood as in The Double Dutch Tragedy of 1975.

I completed my debut Romantic Fiction, False Hope in 2019. The saga with Ashley and Jax will be continuing with Book 2 due to be ready in the fall of 2021. I just released my second novel, a Crime Thriller titled Kevin, Murder Beneath the Pines to 5 star reviews. I blog regularly at www.kayjai.com where I share stories of wine, friends, dog mishaps and laughter.
