J.E. Irvin

J.E. Irvin is a career educator, poet, and the award-winning author of nine mystery/suspense novels and one bilingual children's book - The Wishing Star. Her stories, poems, and essays have appeared in a variety of print and online publications, including Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, The Zodiac Review, Hawaii Pacific Review, Creosote,The Raven's Perch, and Sky Island Journal. Irvin is a member of the Greenville Poets, SistersnCrime, the Ohio Poets' Association, and the Ohio Writers' Association. She lives on the edge of a nature park, where sightings of deer and serenades by coyotes enrich her creative life. A favorite quote by Kahlil Gibran serves to focus the direction of her life and her work: "We live to discover beauty; all else is a form of waiting."
