Bruce Lee Bond

Bruce Lee Bond attended San Francisco State, the University of Oregon and the University of Alaska. He has traveled throughout North America from an early age, studied with a Lakota medicine man on the Rez at twenty-two, aided in the armed occupation of Alcatraz Island by the American Indian Movement, and was involved in what was once called the counterculture in the Northwest and Alaska. He's built cabins in the wilderness, loved women who died too young and rescued sex slaves from pimps. He spent one of the worst winters in Alaskan history under twelve clouds of volcanic ash and record lows when seven thousand moose died of starvation in the region, kept fifteen alive on his land in the Talkeetna Mountains, which ended his hunting days, and has been friends with every moose he's met since. He's known honorable madams and corrupt cops, major crooks, governors, senators, and immensely talented people who died too soon. He'd rather be alone under the aurora than on top of the Mark Hopkins sipping wine, but admits wine tastes better after one has.
