Daniel J. Crosby

Dan is currently pursuing an MA in Greek, Latin & Classical Studies Bryn Mawr College. He came to BMC from Fresno Pacific University where he took a BA in History and Classics ('10) and an MA in Classics ('13), completing a thesis on the development of and relationship between the myths of Python and Tityos. Between 2012 and 2015, he taught two of FPU's core courses in history as an adjunct instructor: Ancient Civilizations and Medieval and Early-Modern Civilizations. His research interests include Greek and Roman religion, myth, and ritual; the Delphic Oracle, Early Christianity, manuscript studies, historiography, ancient military history, and numismatics. Outside of Classical Studies, he enjoys studying topics in Modern Military History and following USA Diving.
