Uncle Poppy

Uncle Poppy grew up in the deep south. As early as he can remember, he loved reading the stories of Uncle Remus and Brer Rabbit, the Chronicles of Narnia, and the Hardy Boy Mysteries.

He and his wife, Aunt Nana, used to travel to the Gulf coast with their first three children and their nieces and nephews, where he would make up stories and read bedtime stories in his uniquely animated way.

this continued as their fourth child, a late in life surprise came along and the tales continue with their eight grandchildren. His first book, "A Blue Chair Christmas" is about his oldest granddaughter who is a special needs blessing.

Uncle Poppy has spent most of his adult life, sharing stories on a weekly basis in his hometown as well as around the world in places like Romania, India, Haiti and Belize.
