Thomas Kauffmann

Following graduations in both Economics and Anthropology, Thomas Kauffmann has been working in the development sector before getting back to academia to develop further his first researches on the Tibetan refugees' community.

For his doctoral thesis in Anthropology at the University of Oxford, he examined the relationship between the Tibetan refugees and the Western NGOs.

This book is the continuation of his doctoral researches.

Today Dr Kauffmann is the Director of an international NGO.
