Leah Devlin

Leah Devlin is a mystery writer and adventurer whose novels of the Chesapeake Tugboat Murders - Vital Spark, Spider and Forger's Revenge - are inspired by her travels on her mini-tugboat and motorcycle. Intrigued by history and crime, Leah weaves historical mysteries into stories of present-day murder. Vital Spark and Spider delve into the history of piracy on the Chesapeake Bay while Forger’s Revenge recreates a world of treacherous Civil War spies, art forgers and women bikers. Leah’s first series, the Woods Hole Mysteries, is set in the real-life village of Woods Hole on Cape Cod where she spent an early part of her career as a marine biologist, and focus on the misadventures of a woman Nobel Laureate-inventor.

Leah divides her time between her boat Vital Spark, her Yamaha motorcycle, and a retro teardrop camper … in endless pursuit of great stories and great adventures in wild, remote places.
