When my mum finally managed to get me to start reading books as a child I think she may have come to regret it as I have spent many days since in bed all day, except for getting food, just reading book after book. Being curled up somewhere whether its my bed, a comfy armchair or sofa or even just a corner of the room, is one of my favourite things to do. I think the only thing my dad regrets about my reading habits is that it doesn't involve more classic literature. What can I say? Anything paranormal or fantasy based is a guilty pleasure of mine. I do like a good classic novel as well though, which my collection of Austen, Bronte and Dickens books would tell you.
Born and raised in Kent, England, I am an avid traveller with a love for all things foreign and exotic and only have to visit to Africa and South America to have visited all the continents (Antarctica doesn't count).
If you read my books and come across some German (don't worry google translate should help) it's there because I love the idea of different cultures coming together. It also happens to be the only other language I know being half German myself.
