Robert Marvin

My name is Robert Marvin and I was born in 1972 in December. I grew up in Reykjavik and spent the first years of my life on Hverfisgata which is close to the town center. Later, I moved to the suburbs and lived there most of the time.

I went to the elementary school Fellaskóli and learned business in high school.

After school I took some time off and worked in Hampidjan creating fishing nets. I began studies of sociology at the University of Iceland. Studying sociology at the University of Iceland is not my Idea of good fun and I said goodbye to the carrier after the first semester.

I got to know programming around the same time I began to write stories and fell for it. I began night studies at Rafidnadarskolinn Reykjavik while working at a lager in the local milk company. I worked with computer related jobs after for about six years, and then he continued my studies at the University of Reykjavik where I studied system engineering.

I met my wife in the economy crash around the time I graduated in 2009 and migrated to Sweden. There I finished my Bachelor degree in computer science at the University of Gothenburg.

I've worked five years at Jeppesen's Systems as a software engineer.

I have practiced writing since 1997, mainly short stories. My stories have been published in magazines and in 2013 I won a crime story competition.

In June 2015 my first novel. "Women janitor” was published.
