Julie Carpenter

Julie Carpenter, Ph.D., is a social scientist and researcher whose work examines how identities and social relationships are shaped, negotiated, and expressed through interactions with technology. Since 2015, she has served as an External Fellow with the Ethics + Emerging Sciences Group at California Polytechnic State University, a non-partisan organization focused on the ethical and societal implications of emerging technologies.
