Sharon Ehlers

Sharon (Skura) Ehlers was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Sharon is most passionate about her three beautiful children and two cats. She is an award winning author, Reiki Master Teacher, Grief Coach and Death Midwife.

After the suicides of a close friend and a former fiancé within a two-year period, Sharon tried to work through the grief on her own. Her thought was that there had to be a better way. So after working in Corporate America for almost 30 years, Sharon decided to start her own company, Grief Reiki® LLC, to offer a multidimensional approach to grief through emotional recovery and spiritual healing. She is now helping others to heal and recover from grief by providing them with a safe, compassionate and healing environment for their journey.

Sharon is the author of "Grief Reiki - An Integrated Approach to the Emotional, Physical and Spiritual Components of Grief." She is the co-author of "Grief Diaries: Surviving Loss By Suicide" which was a finalist in the 10th Annual National Independent Excellence Award (NIEA) Book Awards, the Book Excellence Awards, and the Best Book Awards. Her best lesson in life is: “Miracles do happen.”
