Andrew Pelfini

Andrew Pelfini is a native San Franciscan whose grandparents migrated from Ireland and Italy in the early 1900's to the City--an industrious colorful clan: store owners, professional baseball players, bookies, entrepreneurs and Catholic nuns.

Born in the mid '50's, Andrew is the youngest of six siblings and began writing memoir at age twenty-three. The inspiration for IMPRINTS: the voices of integenerational writers, was born from his participation in a group of local writers with diverse genres, talents and unique voices. Many of the authors are published in various periodicals and online.

George Barimisa: a play write, actor/director and pioneer mentored the writers in their creative endeavors. Mr. Barimisa began his artistic pursuit at the Cafe Chino in the Village of Manhattan. George was still in motion until age eighty-eight.

IMPRINTS is a multi-media anthology of prose, poems, plays and short stories---a kind of book you want to hold in your hand--have at your bedside at night--give to a friend.

Currently, Andrew Pelfini is a psychotherapist, educator and participates in dance/vocal performance as well as engenders community. One might often see Andrew perched on a stoop with a cup of coffee and cigarette taking it all in or imagining a new pursuit.
