Jim Farley has more than 25-years experience with the Ft. Lauderdale Police Department, and is very familiar with the tough neighborhoods and mean streets of that city. He has worked in virtually every facet of law enforcement, including uniformed patrol, tactical impact, detectives, undercover, and SWAT, as well as working a decoy squad. Many people at one time or another say, "I could write a book." Jim said that too, and then he did. His first novel, Blind Pass, incorporates many of his personal experiences into a story of increasing suspense that builds to a shattering and uniquely satisfying climax. He was actually trapped on Sanibel Island with his family, without power, for several days at when a real "No-Name storm" forced the bridge to the mainland to close.
