Tom Stone is a baseball and business book author. His first baseball book is Now Taking the Field: Baseball's All-Time Dream Teams for All 30 Franchises (ACTA Sports, 2018). The book asks the question: Who are the best at each position throughout the history of each major league baseball franchise? It provides robust 30-man all-time dream team rosters, selected based on Wins Above Replacement (WAR), traditional statistics, awards, and post-season accomplishments. Additional features for each all-time team include starting lineups, depth charts, comparisons with numerous past authors and fan surveys, and more.
Tom's first business book, co-authored with Kassy LaBorie, is Interact and Engage! 50+ Activities for Virtual Training, Meetings, and Webinars (ATD Press, 2015). Written in the style of a recipe book, the book includes a wide variety of ready-to-use activities that facilitators can use to improve the interaction and engagement of their virtual training, meetings, and webinars.
