Diane Kirkpatrick is a scientist-mom who enjoys writing about science topics so kids can understand.

She got a BS in medical technology back in the 1990's Then she took some time off to raise a family of 5 nerdy kids. She spends her free time doing home-repair projects, running for exercise and going to therapy (raising 5 high-maintenance kids was hard)
