Derek Jackson is a Las Vegas native whose lifelong love of storytelling was ignited by his father's vast library of classics from Louis L'Amour, Zane Grey, Agatha Christie, Stephen King, and Robert E. Howard. Growing up immersed in tales of gunslingers, Conan-like warriors, and masterful mysteries, Derek spent countless nights dreaming up his own epic adventures—imagining himself as the hero drawing a six-shooter against outlaws or wielding a sword against impossible odds.

That vivid imagination carried into adulthood, eventually compelling him to put pen to paper and bring his original characters to life. Now, Derek writes gripping adventures that blend heart-pounding action, rich worlds, and relatable heroes—the kind of stories he's always wished to read more of.

When he's not writing, Derek lives in North Las Vegas with his family, still fueled by the same passion for great books. He hopes his stories transport readers the way those childhood favorites did for him.
