Trey Palmisano

Trey Palmisano received a BS in English from Towson University and an MA in Theology from the Ecumenical Institute of Theology at St. Mary's Seminary & University in Baltimore, MD, where he also received the Dean's Award for Outstanding Achievement in Theological Studies. He was a Rose Winder scholar in the Jewish Studies program at Towson University where he studied Contemporary Jewish Thought.

He has contributed poetry, news, reviews, and essays to a variety of print publications. He worked as a columnist for the Baltimore Examiner from 2006-2009. Other academic work can be found in peer-review journals such as the American Theological Inquiry, the Anglican Theological Review, and Religions of South Asia. In 2003, he was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in Literature for his poetry, and in 2004, he received a Keith L. Ware Liberty Bell Award for excellence in journalism. He has received scholarly grants through the Henry Luce Foundation, the Common Sense Fund, and Towson University.

He has served as an adjunct professor at Towson University and has lectured at various universities including Towson, the University of Helsinki, and Merton College at Oxford University, UK.
