About the Author

Darlene Weir has many adventures of her own to disclose. Her husband Gordon and two boys, Garrett and James, could entertain you with many stories of their travels through the years. Sea Lure is real and has been part of her family for many years. Boating is one of her greatest joys and, from the time she could walk, there was a boat in her life. But, besides boating, Darlene has worked in various industries from Hotel Management, Tourism, Office Administration to twelve years on Courtenay City Council. Darlene and Gordon also built a farm from scratch, another exciting episode in her life. Change has never been scary for her and she greets it as an exciting challenge. Writing a novel was always on her 'to do' list and now she is totally addicted, the next novel is not far behind.
